About Ann
Ann Monthei never set out to be a writer. She set out, simply, to get well.
The illness came on slowly, a mystery no doctor could fully explain, and for a long time she searched for answers no one seemed able to give. What finally brought healing was the renewing of her mind and the steady presence of her Shepherd, the God she had given her life to twenty years before. He guided her through every step of the way, and she could not keep it to herself.
Pathways of Peace is her first book. She wrote it for the person still on the bathroom floor, still waiting for answers, so they would not have to walk that road believing they are alone, or crazy, or too far gone. The Pathways of Peace Guide is its companion — the practices, the Scripture, and the daily rhythms that carried her through the valley to the table, gathered so you can walk your own road, at your own pace.
Ann lives in Boynton Beach, Florida, just over the line from Delray Beach, the city that still feels like home, where she and her husband Al are usually out somewhere in their golf cart. She paints and designs for the joy of it, and sells educational printables in a small Etsy shop.
